    Question

OK - bad reference to one of the first hacker movie ever made. But let's do something since stuff like this gets under my skin at times.

It is the small things, I know, but I think this guy should be pummeled to a delete key from death with his keyboard....

If you had a chance to read Neil's blog yesterday, you know what I am talking about. Usually at this time of year, we just put our diet's or our chances to get fit on hold til after the holidays.
And then on January 1st, we go out and do stories on how to keep your resolutions and what are you going to do, YADA, YADA, YADA!

But I agree with Mr. Orne. Let's start today. Right now, getting fit and getting into better shape. And mine starts today as well. After not being able to fit into a pair of jeans I bought 6 weeks ago, I have had it. Enough is enough.
Flying back from vacation and barely, I mean barely, fitting into my seat, it hit me. Lose weight, get into shape. (And I almost had to ask for an extender seat belt.)

6 months ago, I ran in the marathon. I did the half, and was really proud of myself. Now, if I could get 1 mile in, I would be in heaven. And with the holidays coming up, if I don't do something quick, I will weigh 400 pounds in no time.

People ask, "I have no idea where to begin." If you have the internet, then you can find all kinds of tips on losing weight and getting into shape. Go to your doctor, go to a nutritionist, get a personal trainer, join the Y, (if you don't have a computer, email me and I will get you some information), just do something other than what you have been doing.

My good buddy Matt Royka tells me that patience is the key. I didn't gain this weight over night and I am not going to lose it over night. But it will come off and I plan on running the marathon again in April.

So every Thursday, send me your comments on losing weight, what you are doing to get into shape, what you want to do, anything related to becoming healther and living a more bountiful life and they will be posted here.

It is in each and everyone of us to change our lives and our routines. We are fastly becoming the first generation that might not out live our parents and that is a sad fact.

Thank you Neil for providing the forum to open up this topic and let me jump on board. It is going to be a fun next 6 months as we get in shape for the marathon. And like I have said many times before, if I can do it, I know you can.

(If you are interested in running the marathon and want to join a team that trains for it, email me at [email protected] and I will put you in contact with a group that helped me and will help you accomplish this)

    LET'S DO IT!!!

    That be it! gah!

What else I forgot to mention is that this is all copied from his blog on the local news channel site.

If you don't have a computer - how the fuck am I going to know I can send you an e-mail for more information? Oh wiat, I don't have a computer - so I shouldn't be reading this anyway!

Actually, Meg, I thought the title made you sound like Jigsaw from Saw.
